JD & Associates evaluated value chain opportunities for rural women involved in maize, beans, cassava, coffee, and banana production in Karongi District.
The assessment examined access to resources, market participation, gender constraints, and production practices.
The study helped design strategies to strengthen CRSA (Climate Resilient Sustainable Agriculture), market access, and women’s leadership in economic activities.
It also supported improved community development outcomes through gender-responsive agricultural planning.
JD & Associates’ structured and practical training approach also supported NAEB’s long-term strategy of modernizing Rwanda’s coffee sector and boosting national export performance.
