JD & Associates prepared the National Housing Strategy for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, analyzing housing rights, policy gaps, and community needs.
The project addressed affordability, homelessness, gender inclusion, urban resilience, and housing finance constraints. The team reviewed national housing conditions and examined barriers preventing Nigerians from accessing adequate housing.
The resulting strategy offers evidence-based recommendations that support improved homeownership, enhanced community resilience, and human-rights–based housing delivery.
It outlines financing tools, policy reforms, and partnerships essential to strengthening Nigeria’s housing sector, while providing a clear roadmap for implementation and monitoring.
